Hyatt Hotels Corp. has recognizes one of its local properties with a “Renovation Excellence” award.
The award was given to Woodbine Development Corp., owners and developers of the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in northwest San Antonio. The resort recently completed a $34 million renovation project that doubled its indoor function space by adding 74,000 square feet and redesigned all of its 500 guestrooms. The project also involved expanding the resort’s waterpark to include a FlowRider and a 22-foot tower water slide.
The award was presented at Hyatt’s recent conference for owners throughout the Americas, held at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif.
Built in 1993, the resort features a championship 27-hole golf course and a full-service state-of-the-art spa.
