Given their successful collaboration to bring to life AC Hotel Tempe, Woodbine and USAA linked arms once again to design and develop AC Hotel Irvine, with Woodbine serving as the developer and construction manager. This California hotel is slightly larger than its Arizona counterpart—boasting a similarly attractive contemporary aesthetic, while reflecting the sensibilities of its SoCal setting.
Informed by the AC brand’s Spanish and European roots, the history of Orange County and the lifestyle that defines the area today, the combination of style and comfort of AC Hotel Irvine resonates with business and leisure travelers alike. The 175-room property features an “agriculture to urban” theme as a nod to the orange groves of yesteryear and the glitz and glamour of the present. The theme further manifests in the hotel’s color palette of rich bronzes and greens, which carry through finishes, fixtures, furnishings and artwork inspired by its urban coastal backdrop.
