Because of Woodbine’s work and collaboration with Macerich on Kierland Commons, Macerich pursued another partnership with Woodbine for its Northern Virginia mixed-use project, Tysons Corner. Woodbine’s role included the development, construction and current asset management of Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center, as well as the adjacent 1.5-acres plaza that serves as the hub the multi-faceted center. Woodbine also continues to provide ongoing asset management services for the project on the ownership’s behalf.
Boasting easy access to our nation’s capital, the 300-room hotel features contemporary guest rooms and 33,000 square feet of function space, making it a standout destination for vacations, group meetings, events and weddings. In addition to the Hyatt, Tysons Corner is home to 300 department and specialty retailers as well as high-rise residential and office towers. Meanwhile, the elevated plaza—which perches between hotel and shopping—tenders a lengthy activity lineup for guests and locals, among them outdoor dining and fire pits, movies on the lawn, live music, holiday ice skating and ongoing activities for young people in partnership with National Geographic Kids.
