Full-Service Projects

Our core competency–developing large-scale destination resorts throughout the Southwestern United States–continues to drive our growth, with six destination resort hotels and over 3,000 keys developed since 1992. But we’ve also diversified our focus to include urban infill, mixed-use and full-service assets throughout the country with recent development projects in Dallas, Phoenix and Washington D.C.

Select-Service Projects

In 2008, Woodbine ventured into select-service development through a preferred developer partnership with Hyatt Hotels Corporation and multiple flags within major brands. Since then, our select-service platform has grown faster than any other segment of our business. The growth includes development of twelve select-service hotels totaling over 3,000 keys. Our diversified brand offerings include valuable partnerships with AC Hotels and USAA.


Throughout Woodbine’s history, new construction projects have been our investors’ primary focus. However, in 2012, we made our first acquisition in over 20 years–a distressed yet historic hotel in the Pacific Northwest. After renovations and repositioning, it was sold three years later and has inspired a new investment strategy for Woodbine. This strategy includes an investment fund to acquire assets in major U.S. markets, including multiple boutique and lifestyle repositioning projects.

Office & Mixed-use

We have strategically developed mixed-use spaces and bustling communities from the ground up for more than 40 years, with more than 4.8 million square feet of mixed-use and office projects to our name. Beyond evaluating development opportunities, Woodbine has extensive experience in marketing properties and building infrastructure.
